The Apprentice: Was it cancelled or did Donald Trump Quit?
He ruined that show for me. It was the best show on TV for a couple of years. Sleeping in tents? In LA? Now I guess Martha Stewart can call him names and tell him how it wasn't the format it was the host. If I were her, on her show I would fire up some clip of Donald talking about the failure of her version of The Apperntice and leave them hanging without comment. Just smile her smile. |

| I heard it got axed, but I'm sure he will make every effort to say and prove otherwise. That's what he gets for bragging about being the #1 watched show that night, which he wasn't. The show was boring... lost its appeal after the second season. |

| NBC had left it off of the Fall schedule, but had made no specific decision on the show being renewed. So Trump said renew you, I'm leaving. He made some remark that he was leaving the Apprentice to work on a new TV venture (but gave no details).
How long was this show on? 5 years? I don't think he ran the show into the ground. IMO, the new-show-smell disappeared, just grew old and became as irrelevant as every other 5 year-old network show. I am not a huge fan of the character Trump plays now. But when I was in HS and college I read his books and it is pretty incredible what he had done to get to where he was (at that time). |

I am a Trump admirer, I think what he's accomplished is nothing short of amazing... but I have only seen the show a few times. It was good, but not good enough for me to remember what day it was on LOL Or maybe it was on at the same time as a show I planned to watch... |
