Hi everyone, Elliott went to his first official agility class. He was a riot. He loves the chute and the tunnel ! The instructor said he will be an easy teach, he has no fear of any of the equipment. She also has some of the other equipment downsized for puppies so they won't hurt themselves. He looked so funny comming out of the chute and tunnel, and jumping through the tire. She has trained alot of Aussies , border collies, and shelties, but this is her 1st. sheepie. She absolutely loves him, when he came out of the chute, he had big wet sheepie kisses for her, she was not expecting I also have a question ,Are weave poles spaced differently for differently for different sized dogs? Forgot to ask her this morning. |

Wow, way to go Elliott! I don't know anything about agility, but it looks like it would be fun for both your sheepie and you. Good luck Elliott! |
YAY! What fun! Take the camera next time! |

Lorie, a friend of my teaches agility. I've been there several times to watch and the same pole spacing was used regardless of the size of the dogs. You might check the agility regs on AKC's web site to see if there are any directives in this regard. |
Fun fun fun and please camera next time. Good boy Elliot, bad momma, no piccys of the first day at agility.
Sounds like a hoot of a time you all had. |
