 . He had seen a news story about a young girl who was shot and needed to go a fair distance for therapy, gave her a $1000 card. He then went to his old neighborhood in NW Detroit and gave away $100 cards, giving an elderly woman 2 cards because she has cancer and has to go for chemo. The rest he will distribute tomorrow at his church for those who are having a rough time. The thing is, when he was trying to win he never intended to use any of it for himself, he wanted to win to help others . Makes you think there's hope for the human race after all. |

| This is a wonderful story and things like this keep me believing that the world is for the most part full of good people and the unscrupulous people are actually the minority. Thank you for recounting this story as the news is usually overrun with sadness and it is nice to hear about someone doing something altruistic. |
