BUT, they are not fancy people, so I'd like to make something really good but looks like it was really easy to make. I'd also like to make it healthier than not... Any suggestions? (BTW, I don't eat read meat or pork, so I'd prefer some other suggestions, but I'm not opposed to them either since everyone else in my house eats that). |

Try the coconut chicken recipe I posted. I have NEVER had someone say it wasn't super fancy, yet have had families tell me that they can't believe dinner is already ready! Prep: 10 min. Cooking 20-25 min.
It's something most people have never had, and the sauce is the icing on the cake which people spread over everything. Sometimes I wonder if they're just eating sauce. BTW, it doesn't taste like coconut. http://forum.oes.org/viewtopic.php?t=9232 |

frozen shrimp thawed and peeled saute with mushrooms, onion and garlic..i also added a teaspoon of red pepper, but i like it hot!! add one jar of ready alfredo sauce and one small can of tomato sauce... chop fresh basil...add some fresh parm cheese..stir all together and serve over a bed of really good fresh linguini..... |
