Yuki Sheepherding improved! (& video)
 The trainer wants her to get her title in June at a competition, but it will be a matter of if I can get her out there. If I can, then another OES owner will walk her through the trial.
Here's a shot clip of her herding. She's improved so much from the first video I posted where she just barked at all the sheep constantly to get them move. Now she actually knows how to get them to come back to the herd with her body and bark only when necessary. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1YKLSiGAHQ Mommy and son. I was the only one out there who had a thick jacket on besides lil J. No one else had a jacket on.  I can't help it. I get so cold even when it's warm out "so they said."
He's short and is an animal lover like Cesar Milan! okay, really was his 2T jacket. thickest one he had since it was chilly and we went sheepherding before his hospital appt later that day. ...which explains why he is in pj's underneath. we were selfish and wanted to go sheepherding until he could see a doctor

Go Yuki! She really is impressive, Joah! I can see great improvement even just from when you and I went, the last time! 
Let me know when exactly that trial is, because I want to go out and cheer her on!!!

That's great to hear! Something fun for your dogs to do too! If you don't already have it, I can give you S's email address. I probably won't start going until I have to (maybe the entire month of june). I still don't know what my schedule will be like, but I hope to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am disappointed I didn't have my camera the day we went together. So many sheepies to take pics of!  |
