Chauncey's coming home in 2 weeks
Well, we are becoming new parents to a sheepie pup on the 29th. It is a male and we are naming him Chauncey. He is from Woodsshadows kennel. We can't wait to bring him home. Looking forward to learning and participating in this community. As you can see, herding dogs are not new to us. |

| Our Border Collie's name is Seamus (Sha-mus). |
I like "Seamus!" Makes him seem smart.. just like a Border Collie! 
Why will you be naming your new OES puppy Chauncey? Any story there? |
| We wanted to give the sheepie an English name, to reflect his "heritage". Also it is somewhat of a memorium to our beardie Clancy.
Seamus is a smart one alright. We often joke that he needs a helmet. lol |

Oh boy!!! You're getting your new puppy at an age your child will be wanting to touch and ride everything.  Good luck and I'll mail you some aspirin! 
Those puppy teeth and nails are super super sharp at first, so hopefully you don't run into too many problems. Otherwise, I am POSITIVE that your new OES and child will be BESTEST friends.  |

Oakley our 3 year old OES is also from Woodshadow....we will be adding another OES puppy soon (pending birth June 16th!!!). Would love to see some pictures of Chauncey....I bet he's just as cute as his cousin Oakley!! |

So sorry to hear about the loss of Clancy. Your family is in our thoughts as we know what a difficult loss it is to lose a beloved pet. Congratulations on your new family member, Chauncey! May he bring your family years of love, laughter and joy. Sheepie kisses and lots of wiggling will be occuring at frequent intervals. Enjoy your baby sheepie! Please post pictures! |
