Black dew pads...

I was walking panda tonight and i noticed that her dew pads are now actually black...they used to be nice and pink....her regular pads are still pink...why would her dew pads go black? They feel normal...maybe a little dry...but otherwise normal...any ideas?

Dogs usually gain pigment with age.... it's probably nothing if all else is normal
