Something like that happened soon after we got our first OES. We were living at a ranger station, removed from civilization when we saw a couple coming up the trail with a giant blue dog. It was a blue sheepdog male in full coat. I've yet to see another dog so blue.......and beautiful. My then 16 week old pup was beside herself, maybe he reminded her of her family back in England. The big male was very gentle letting Maudie crawl all over him, licking, etc just as your pup did to the bigger dog. Fortunately I had a camera close at hand so could record the event; otherwise, I'd like I had dreamed up the whole thing. It was that wonderful. |
Oh gosh, that is exactly how i felt! It was great! I am enjoying her being a puppy, but I can't wait until she is big and blue! LOL What an incredible looking breed they are! I am in love! |
When Presley was younger - my Mom went to pick her up at the Groomer for me. Well, when she walked in she saw her in the crate and said "Hi Presley" The groomer turned to her and said, "That's not Presley - that's Benny". My mother couldn't believe how much they looked alike.
Well - long story short! Benny turned out to be Presley's Littermate!!! Benny lived in the next town over from us! It's a small world! Kristen |
WOW! Sure is a small world! I was just so blown away to see this huge beautiful dog! I couldn't believe that my little girl will look like that one day! I just went to Target and couldn't resist buying another bed for her! It said it was for dogs up to 70lb.. So I bring it home, and the thing is huge! I mean, I can sleep on it! LOL She doesn't care about the bed right now, too hot, but I hope that she will get to like it when it gets cooler! It was just so funny, I open this bag, and out comes out a dogbed half the size of my couch. LOL Hope she will grow into it. |
Have fun with the dog bed!! We got ours at walmart. At first look it was perfect you could unzip the outer cover and wash it. Then one day the dogs decided to treat it like a stuffed animal and I had stuffing everywhere. I took what was left shoved it back in and sewed the best i could with pieces of material missing. It no longer zips and i cant wash but the dogs still love it. My bedroom is so small that the dog beds take up the whole floor. In the middle of the night i have to turn on the light so i don't trip over them or the dogs on the way to the bathroom. On a good night they don't use them and I have all three in bed with me There is nothing better!!

We have 2 huge dog beds that unzip also, but do they get used, sure by the cats. Go figure, a huge bed and a cat that takes up a small corner of it.....Oh, well as long as some of the furbabies like them. LOL Annabelle has decided that when my husband (who works at night) is gone that she can sleep with me all night long. Do I mind...no, she is a good cuddle baby. LOL Stormi and co. |
