Why isn't there a sick pass for when you're on vacation?
 ...and then while lil J got more sick and I got completely better, my husband got sick a day before he left.
He left last night at 10 p.m. There were so many other soldiers with us that i didn't think it would be emotional. Then a passenger who had been talking to us for the past hour asked if lil J was traveling with him too. We said, "no, our little son can't go to iraq and if he could, mommy wouldn't allow it." The passenger had no idea he was leaving for Iraq. Something about that moment made it hit hard for my husband and me. We told lil J to "kiss daddy goodbye" ...and I basically had to walk off and not turn back after that because I completely lost it. Sigh............................... I'm soo sad now and yuki won't let me touch her. She still howling at the garage door as if mommy left daddy in the garage and won't let him in. Every time I try to pull her upstairs, she keeps ramming into the upstairs gate until I open it, so she can go back downstairs and wait for her daddy. 
Somehow I felt she knew he was leaving because a few days before he left, she began to be super clingy with him and refusing to be left behind. Thanks for all your support. (for those interested, I got sick the day "the time was right" ...so no lil beans are on the way.)  |

| Awww L, Im sorry you all got sick...what a bummer! Yuki will be herself in no time, but im sure that her mood right now isnt helping yours...youre all feeling it....

| Depends how you look at it...
it's almost out of white, so there's only one color left to go through ....BLUE! My husband says I need to add 3 more months of jellybeans since that's how long they've been extended. I don't want to. I rather feel good about the jar being empty at the year mark (oct 1st), and then worry about adding 3 more months. I'm just weird I guess. | Oh no...you guys all getting sick while Mr. J was home...that just doesn't seem fair.

| Mrs J love your new Avatar!!!! Mr. J and Lil J look so good together. I'm sorry all of you where sick, including Yuki, during Mr J's big visit. I am sorry you have to add 90 more jelly beans to your jar. It doesn't seem fair. I hope everything goes back to "normal" soon at your place as you wait for the next visit.

| Oh sweetie! I'm so sorry you had to deal with all that while hubby was home! Here's hoping the rest of his deployment goes by SUPER fast for all of you. Is Lil J any feeling better?

| That photo is just wonderful, Joah...brought tears to my eyes. Im so glad I got to meet all of you guys while Mr. J was in town! I really hope that amid all the revolving illness, there were lots of fun, happy moments for Mr. J to take back with him.
Poor Yuki! Lets plan a puppy play date ASAP....Bert will cheer her right up....or at least annoy her too much to feel sad   |

I bet it was still great to see him, though, and let him see you, lil J and Yuki. And poor Yuki!! Seeing her that sad can't be doing you any good either.  |

He called from Dallas a few minutes ago and told me how great it felt to see his family, so that made me feel good.  He's not too vocal about his emotions, but this is one of those times where words weren't necessary. I loved seeing him play with his son. They both hated lil j's bedtime ...like "do we really have to go to sleep mommmmmmmmm...". |

| I'm sorry too everyone was sick. That is hard as time is short for the visit home. The photo of the two men in your life is just the most precious and lovely photo.
J I can't imagine how you are feeling it must be so hard to say hello and goodbye again in such a short time. I hope Yuki settles down soon for you, she must be so confused at the moment. Sending wishes that time flies real quick for you to be all together again. |

That doesn't mean a lil bean is not on the way..... You have more than one day. I believe there is a 3 day window. So... wishing you luck!! Sorry Mr J had to go back and I hope the time passes quickly. |
There should be sick leave for vacations. . . 
It's wonderful you got to see your husband and be together as a family. I hope he gets home safe and think of it this way: it is one day LESS of three months now. . . Poor Yuki. Give her some special kisses from Bingley. |
| I'm so sorry. (((HUGS))) As much as the visits are nice, they are sooo hard when sending them back. I'm sorry you got sick too. Jason had to go to California last week for his grandfather's funeral, and he got really ill too. It seems like the germs always hit at the worst possible time. |
| Sorry to hear about your husband's grandfather I'm sick of everyone being sick. Lil J's bacteria infection? isn't getting better, and Yuki seems to be having urinary problems still. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
stupid civilian nurse called (which my husband always brags about being 10X better than military doctors) to check up on my son. I tell her he has a very violent cough that I'm worried about b/c I imagine after this long, his throat has to be super sore. She replies with ".......aweeeeee." Hey idiot, it was a question/concern!!!!!! ...that IS why you called right?!?!?! To check up on him? I said, so I'm assuming his antibiotics will clear it up? She replied with "oh, okay..." WTH?!?! I just flat out hungup. I hate little patience ...something I should work on, I guess. |
