Keep up the good work, he WILL outgrow this stage! |
My Rosco used to get carsick before I even started the car . He did outgrow it, in the meantime try something with ginger in it to calm his stomach, maybe some gingersnaps. |

Gingersnap cookies work well.. my Murphy would hurl evertime he got in the car.. I started given him ginger cookies about 20 minutes before going out and in no time at all he got over the car sickness... |
Hi
Welcome to the forum from Belgium. Your puppy is so cute _______________________________ Wendy and Gismo |
Well! No wonder you are in
He is adorable! Can't wait to see how his coat develops.......as an adult. The playing with intimate objects is normal, he just loves you and your smell. Tip: For carsick dogs, feed them a ginger snap or two before you get going. Works for my guys.....tho they assure me two gingersnaps are just not enough. To break is fear, reteach him about going car-car. Just sit with him in the car a few times. Then start the engine and sit there. Eventually drive down the driveway or around the block and back. Gradually lengthen the time he's in the car and show him there's nothing to worry about. Don't forget the ginger snaps! |
