3 days to Key West!!!
We will be in KW from the 13th - 21st. Ah....as Tony would say, we are going home! On the 21st, we take the boat back to Ft. Myers. I'm pretty excited about it (with the exception that it will mean leaving the Conch Republic for another year). We leave at 6pm, arrive at 9 pm. Which means, we will be in the Gulf for sunset!!!!! How gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will then go to Sanibel Island until the 24th. My very "bestest" friend, Nancie (from W. Palm Beach) and her husband will meet us there, and we will get to spend special time together. This trip is always one of our very favorite things. Something we look forward to every year. Some of you may know, Tony and I were married in KW, at Ft. Zachary Taylor Beach, in 2003. I will be checking in. I don't know how to "re-log" myself on a strange computer, so I will be "Guest", but will identify myself. After all...how could I go for so many days with all of you?! So...2 more days of work...and then...paradise!!!!!!!!!!!! PS...Vicci, the most wonderful housesitter in the world, will be staying with the dogs and cats...and spoiling them ROTTEN! |

| I'm so jealous that you get to go every year, Deb! We went as a last big family vacation in '04 (one child graduated from college, the other from high school) and just LOVED it and look forward to returning one day. Have a GREAT time!! |

| Probably the food show. She is selling spices.
She's been in the restaurant and/or food biz forever. Exhibiting at trade shows isn't a lot of fun. |

| I did work it out! The places we are going in KW aren't dressy at all...I was worried about our stay in Sanibel, but apparently, that is beach community too...and dressy dress not required!!!!! I did splurg on some darling (much smaller) sundresses!

Sanibel may be a beach community, but there are some great "nice"restaraunts on Sanibel and Captiva. I have had the need for a nice pair of pants and a sport coat on occasion there. So I would check out the possible eateries online before you pack. |
| Thanks! I am bringing some very nice slacks...but the dresses I was worried about are more cocktail/clubby dresses. Think I'll be safe? If not....I can always SHOP!!!!!  |

| Hi all! We literally just got home! Haven't had a chance to do anything, but wanted to let you know, I will post pics over the weekend. Our dogs did great without us! Keira was so happy to see me see "peed" herself! Pirate just snuggled! More to come! |
