If you haven't already, you need to have her examined by a vet to determine the nature of these growths... either non-cancerous tumors (like Lipomas which are quite common and are often referred to as "fatty tumors") or life threatening malignant growths. ALL lumps need to be assessed by a vet.
Two of our dogs have had tumors... my Border Collie-mix has had several tumors (about 6). They aspirated them during office calls and determined they were fatty tumors and non-cancerous. We later had them surgically removed while she was sedated for other reasons. One of my sheepies has had 2 tumors removed in just over a year... thankfully they too were non-cancerous. Also, here's a great site about canine epilepsy... http://www.canine-epilepsy-guardian-ang ... te_map.htm Best wishes~ |
Finding a lump is so scary. Jaci is right -- you need to take her to a Vet to find out what they are. I will be thinking positive thoughts for your sweetie. Would love to see pictures and hear more about her. . . |
Good Luck! I hope you are able to get to your Vet ASAP. My Tasker has tumors on his belly, they are lipomas as completely benign. We have them checked by the Vet every year and while they have grown they grow slowly and are harmless. |
