There's one member on here with a Puli. They're fun little guys. Tough little herders. I have the larger of the 2 Hungarian corded breeds, the Komondor. The Pulik were bred to herd but, also, if they heard a disturbance or something hinky out in the fields, they'd alert the Komondor/s, who were guarding and then they'd run in to investigate.
The woman that I got my Kom from has both Koms and Pulik (and an OES thanks to Clyde!) and they all got along great despite their size differences, too. One thing though, the grooming is not like anything that you've ever done before. It'll feel very weird and wrong to you until you can actually see how things work. They go through a real ugly stage around 10 to 14 months where you almost don't want to take them out in public. I've been doing it all on my own with lots of internet support since my Kom was a rescue. I'd have loved to have a breeder to draw knowledge from but I feel pretty solid now... I think. |
Hi!
We have a puli, and it`s just fit very good with oes. Don`t ask me why but many oes owner here in Europa have them together. There is something with the temperament and the look. They are super to guard the house, the puli in front with the big oes right behind. No one go in to your garden!!!! Here are some links I found. http://www.puliclub.org/ (US) http://www.puli.hu/ (Hun) Hope you can get the info that you want there, and you are welcome to mail me. (and I try to do my best) Lene and Gitte ( who is our first Rus champion) |
