More Food problems - chicken
My concern is...many of us are cooking for our pets and using of all things...chicken! So, I just caution anyone whose dog looks or acts differently, even without the so called symptoms, go get checked at the Vet. I don't think any of this should be taken lightly...They are questioning baby foods as well....So why isn't all this on the news is my question  Isn't a contamination of the human food supply important enough to make news?

| Thank you for bringing this up. Not only are our pets' health in danger, but so is our own.
It takes being hit over the head before people wake up and realize how vulnerable they really are. Don't expect our government, any government, to fully protect the people. There isn't a government large enough, powerful enough or funded enough to check everything all the time. What we can demand is more frequent testing and a procedure to immediately stop suspected shipments both internally produced as well as imports. Don't expect China to be real cooperative........it's not in their nature. |

| The problem isn't all with China...Our greedy american manufacturers saw an easy way to add profit to their own pockets...what the heck are they eating?
Accrding to the reports, China was not willing to let the US inspect their facilities at first but nw they are...I guess they wanted to buy some time to "clean up"... My biggest problem is...where the heck was the FDA for the last 15 years? What is the point of our tax dollars paying for this agency...and why isn't this being broadcast all ver the news...The media made a bigger deal over who was the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby 
My other question...I am feeding Wellness Puppy, chicken and rice...first ingredient is "deboned chicken"....is it safe? I've put in a request to Wellness and await their reply... |
