Thank you for all of the packages. There was soooo many I couldn't keep up with names and gifts. We would come home from two weeks at our outpost (Najaf) to the main base and I would have so many boxes there was no place to keep them. I hung up most of the Christmas cards before I ran out of space in my room. The food was very much appreciated as we were forced to eat Meals Ready to Eat (MRE) or as we call Mysteries. Thank you so much for the letters and gifts (clip board, ornament, games, pictures, and DVDs). The Army keeps me pretty busy and I am terrible at correspondence or I would have sent out thank you letters a long time ago. My poor wife hasn't received a written letter yet. Thank you everyone, J Here are a few pics. |

This is joahaeyo... since my husband isn't the type to be super detailed... I thought I'd tell you how wonderful it was for lil j to see his daddy. The first night was hard. Lil J couldn't get to sleep because his strange guy was in his home... yet something was familiar about him. We went to a japanese restaurant the next day and out of nowhere lil j leaned over for a kiss. Considering how shy my son is, this was surprising!!! Mr. J didn't notice right away, so lil j just say there grunting for him to lean in. Soooooooooo cute. He doesn't even give me kisses. Since then, he has been running to his daddy (instead of mommy) for anything he needs. He rubs my husband's back when we stand in lines or his head. I can't imagine how hard it will be for him to leave his son back again after they have grown so close. We still have 1 wk together. I don't WANT to think about it.
Yuki cries and howls her brains out anytime my husband goes outside. She's SO afraid of him leaving!!! It's crazy. She has been sleeping in his arms or creeping inbetween the both of us in the middle of the night just to be close to her daddy. She normally leaves after 10 minutes in the bed because it's too hot, but she stays in his arms ALL night long. This makes for a very romantic time. I'm mad at mr. j right now. He brought back some new germs or something because I've been sick with a 102.9 temp. Grrr. I'm getting better though. |
Yay!!! The pictures are wonderful! I am so glad you are all enjoying family time.
Joahaeyo -- I hope you feel better soon! (I think you are just all hot and bothered to have your hubby home ) |

I'm sorry you're sick! That's no fun at all. Good thing Yuki is there to move in on your man while you're sick LMBO - no fair!!!!!!! Thanks again everyone. I brought the laptop to the bedroom this morning so Mr. J could read all the replies. We both laughed and he wondered why so many people know his wife so well (the comments about alcohol and/or being so hot&bothered). I'm always despressed when I can't post or read every topic, ...and don't know if I'm allowed to say this ....but I've been trying to soak up and hang on to every moment that I haven't even thought of the internet. Anyway, we're going to try to go to the zoo today with lil j. Love you guys! |
Don't worry Ms J!!! You'll have plenty of time to "catchup" when Mr. J is gone.
We don't EXPECT to see you around here for a bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
