Vegas Nose update..
I went to my G.P. yesterday...he confirmed that yes it was broken across the bridge....gave me some heavy duty ibuprofin and told me to make an appt with the eye, nose, throat doctor for about 6 weeks from now.... So this morning I call the ENT doctor to make the appt....the nurse asks me when it happened..i go thru the time, how, etc... and told her that my doctor wants it for 6 weeks....she gasped and said ''NO"...you need to come in right away...or as soon as a new patient can....lol...which is monday....I need to get xrays and a ct....lol...great....she said that since i have had a headache since the time it happened, i might have actually fractured my skull... 
All I want is my nose to look at least the same as it did and not to have this headache between my eyes....or actually now that I think about it, the drainage too.... On the lighter side, I have to go back to Vegas on Tues for the kitchen and bath show.....lol....all business, NO dancing...Im going to lock myself in my room at 10 pm...no ifs ands or buts.....  |

Oh darcy hugs, you really did have a wild time in Vegas 
Hope you get it fixed soon and the headaches settle down for you. It looks painful in the other photos you posted. 
No more wild nights for you for awhile  How's chelseas head, any damage there as well. |

That whole what happens in vagas stays in vegas thing isn't really true then is it  You brought home evidence!
Soak it for all it's worth though... lots of rest and relaxation, good food, hot tea... all the niceties that might help you heal and feel better faster  |

I saw your pictures and it looked broken to me too  Did you have a bloody nose? That's always attractive. I have an embarrassing story about breaking my nose too, so don't feel bad about yours...at least YOU were having fun. |

| I just got back from the ENT doctor....i have a small fracture on the left side of my nose which caused some bleeding into that sinus cavity which is what is causing my headaches....he hydro sprayed some decongestent into the sinuses and the power suctioned them out....my nasal cavities feel really weird...I dont think they have ever been that clean
The sad thing is ...he said he wouldnt recommend reconstructive surgery at this time so no new pretty nose for me...... |

And we were laughing how both of us were accident-prone.....well, this just actually proved it.... We can most definately party together, but im just not going to DANCE next to you..... |

LOL, I forgot about that. We both wore white that night and managed not to get our clothes dirty or stained like we were worried about. Just broke your nose and added a bump to my head. |

I think all of us can think of a time or two we wished someone would stick a vacuum up our nose.......never met anyone who actually had that done. Gives new meaning to spring cleaning. Hope you are well along the road to recovery. |

| Darcy that is just horrible. I have to say you are and were such a good sport and completely not into what could have became a dramatic situation.
I feel bad for you too Chelsea, you were a good sport too even though you must have quite a good bump. Feel better guys! |

im looking much better now....the left side of my nose is still swollen, eyes are back to normal...left eye still a little puffy, but not bad at all.....its my sinuses that are still screwed up...but all things considered...not bad!! |
