Scarlet's 'official' vet visit
Today she saw the vet and had her second set of shots. She was all wiggly as usual and just LOVED the vet...which was funny as the one we got to see is not my fave of the vets in the practice LOL At 11 weeks, Scarlet is exactly 20 pounds.....she has gained 9 pounds in 3 weeks....and 4 of those 9 pounds was in just the last week 
We go back to the vets in 2 weeks for her leptospirosis vax, I did not want her to get that vax in conjunction with the other vaccines she got today. She is doing really well with the housetraining...or I should say I am doing really well with the house training She has slept thru the night since we got her at almost 9 weeks. She wakes when she hears hubby get up in the morning and I take her out for potty and then its back to bed for about an hour before the whole house gets up.
She knows her name and comes when she is called, she knows 'sit', and so far she walks pretty good on the leash...we have only practiced inside the house and in the dog run with the leash. Her favourite place to sleep is on the tile in front of the fireplace, she wedges herself partway under the chair next to the fireplace. She gets along well with the other dogs, both Avalon and Faith love to wrestle with Scarlet...Merlin is still wondering when Stacey is coming to pick her up. He still wants nothing to do with her, altho the growling is not as much as before. Scarlet pretty much leaves Merlin alone....she realizes that he is a big grump 
She has fit in with our family perfectly and the kids all love her, they are a huge help with her and are always willing to play with her or watch her and even clean up the occasional accident  |

Mojo loves to go to the vet. All those good smells. He looks everywhere for other dogs and loves the attention. |

Kim it is great to hear that beautiful sheepie pup Scarlet (I love her name) is doing so well. Now you know every Monday we will exspect a new pic of her posted so we can watch her as she grows. Give her a big hug for me and hug Avalon, Faith and Merlin for me also. All four are very "lucky" dogs to be in your pack!  |

Bree and Sadie went to the vet today too, they are both doing great also
Bree weighed 19.8 lbs, so just a couple ounces lighter than Scarlet. I thought Scarlet would have been bigger than Bree by more than that. Sadie weighed in at 24.4 lbs! She's a big solid girl, and so good
I think that's either the same or bigger than Tucker at the same age. |
