Sad news for Daisy
 . There is nothing more we can do for her except keep her comfortable. She has gastric ulcers as a result of the steroids and has been given sucralfate and metoclopramide in addition to the pred. The problem is she literally is not eating so giving her the meds is impossible, without food they won't do any good. She is very weak, walks very slowly, and can barely bark. This morning I took her outside, she laid on the grass and looked around like it would be the last time she saw it. I've been sitting with her most of the day, talking nonsense to her so she knows I'm here. I've been assured she has no pain, we don't know how long she has. Without food and drinking next to nothing I think it will be soon , maybe a matter of days  . I am not prepared for this, I thought (hoped) that the pred was a magic bullet. |

| What a hard thing. I am sorry that the pred. didn't work lightning fast for her. Give her tons of love and affection - she'll appreciate it as much as you'll love giving it. |
