CAN'T WAIT!! |
|
whhooooo hooooo...its about time! |
I'm so excited! James and I were so happy that it's on a time that didn't conflict with Vegas! |
OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I won't say anything because not all of the country has seen it yet, but WOW!
Let the discussions begin!! |
wowser ....i mean really......why cant they play it all out like a movie....this is just tooo much |
I really enjoyed last night's episode! Full of drama, and I can't wait to see next week's episode that takes place in the future!!!
So what do you all think? Will they be able to stop Syler? Who was that angry guiy he was painting int he office? Was that supposed to be Nathan? |

I think so...obviously the ability to see the future does't automatically come with the ability to paint or draw |
That's naughty! Yes, you're right. Syler did not pick up any inherent TALENT with that one, that painting was UGLY! Which leads one to the thought- if you had the ability to paint the future, but couldn't actually PAINT would anyone even be able to tell what you were painting in the first place??? Somehow a stick figure of a cheerleader getting murdered just doesnt have the same OOMPH, huh??? What aboutr grandma? Anyone have any conjectures about what her special talent is? |
I dont think the intent was for sylars painting to be ''ugly'' but to show the evil darker side.... |
Maybe he wasn't reporting the future as much as creating it...? Silar's version of the future might be more sinister, and less detailed than an artist's.
Just a thought. |
I also can't wait to see what power Grandma has. You KNOW she has one because she said something to Claire about "if you choose to come back the group, as I did . . ."
Okay, someone explain to me how Mohinder was on the ceiling. Did Sylar have him nailed up there somehow, or was Sylar just holding him up there with his powers? And I can't WAIT till next week when they show Hiro of the present meeting Hiro of the future. Yikes!! |
If Peter just has to come in contact to gain powers.. and Sylar has to open them up to "see how it works".. then would that mean that Peter now has all of Sylars powers?
Cause if that is true then Peter ought to be able to whip ole Sylar like no ones business now eh.. me thinks Grams has some serious connections with Linderman.. either is "one of those who strayed".. married to one of those strays or possibly had a thing with Linderman ( who could be Peter and Nathans dad.. you never know these days =P ) oo and Drez.. one of Sylars stolen powers is telekenisis .. so basically his mind held him there |
I read somewhere yesterday that Sylar doesn't have the artistic skills of Isaac...so all of his drawings/paintings willl look like a child did them. |
Any thoughts on last night's episode? Wow! SO many unanswered questions and what-the-@#$^s!! Hopefully next week's current year adventures will answer some of those new questions.
Didn't like Clair as a brunette. Didn't like Parkman as a bad cop, or whatever he was supposed to be. And Sylar in Nathan's image? Man! |
the ending was awesome with sylar as nathan as he cuts claires head open...wowowowoowowow...this show is great, it really makes you think and want more.... |
It was neat to see the possible future...but I am assuming that Hiro will manage to change at least some of it....I hope |
Yowsa!! Now I can't wait for next week. |
OKAY - who's up for the season finale tonight?????
I already warned the fam - do not bother me between 9-10!! |
OH BOY, THIS IS TOUGH.....
Heroes and Red Sox-Yankees on at the same time Fortunately, I don't have cable, so I can only watch Heroes. |
Wow, out of breath and full of surprises!
Enjoy west coast, enjoy! |
I KNOW!!!! Just when you thought you knew what was going to happen, they threw you a curve ball!! (Little reference to your baseball game there, Ron! )
Anyway - GREAT show!! Can't wait till everyone has seen it so we can talk about it!! |
I'm confused to why you can't talk about it now?
It's the responsibility of the user not to click on the thread titled "whatever show" after the time it airs. What if they tivo'ed it and didn't watch it until midnight but everyone replied to this thread when they thought everyone viewed it? Just too hard that way. It's not like they can see what happened by looking at the thread title..... This is at least how all the other threads have gone so far on here, so not sure why this one should be different. I want to hear what happened!!!! I'm watching the Bachelor. |
A quick recap - well, let's see . . .
Sylar is dead, Peter and Nathan are supposedly dead, Linderman is dead, the character that Eric Roberts played (can't remember his name on the show) is dead, DL was shot taking a bullet for Nicki (not dead but seriously wounded), Parkman was shot when Sylar stopped the bullets he shot at him and reversed them back to Parkman (not dead yet but taken away by ambulance). Those are just the highlights. LOTS more happened. In fact, I'm going to watch it on the computer again today, just to see if I missed anything while I sat there wide-eyed and gasping!! I LOVE this show!! |

I LOVE this show!! Sylar isn't dead-- he crawled into the sewer. Did you see at the end where they panned on the blood trail that went from where he was laying to the open manhole cover? Yhey only showed Parkman being rolled out (no Slyar on a stretcher). For all the bullets he took, I'm assuming that he had a vest on because there was no blood and he wasn't dead on contact. I don't believe that Peter and Nathan are dead but I'm not sure what to think about what happened! Finally, also the opening eclipse sequence is about to make sense. I had always thought it looked too spacey for the show and wondered about its significance. Now, next season, it looks like we'll learn why. |
Okay, just watched it again. Didn't catch the trail of blood to the storm drain the first time. My theory on Nathan and Peter is that Nathan flew Peter high enough to save the earth, then let him go and flew away to save himself, all the time knowing Peter could regenerate himself afterwards. But if you're blown to pieces, can you regenerate? Hmmmm . . .
Then I have to wonder who the one person is who Molly won't think about, because when she does, he can see her. Is it Hiro's father? I still wonder what powers Nathan's mother has. And now I wonder what powers, if any, the man Peter was hired to care for had, or was that JUST a dream? Did he actually remember his mother coming to visit Charles? And whatever happened to the original invisible man? And Claire's birth mother. And the woman who can change into somebody else. Was she just knocked out or killed? Questions, questions, and more questions. Next year may answer some, but I'm sure it will generate a LOT more! |
No,
I definitely think Molly's person is EVIL. More EVIL then Syler... and Hiro's dad is pretty nice when it comes down to it. I think he's one of the real "good guys" of the earlier generation. Unlike grandma! she is a witch and a half! Not evil, just cold hearted... BRR!!!! I can't WAIT to see what they do with the japanese samurai that Hiro encountered at the end. I wonder if the guy in blue is really his hero from the dragon story??? Maybe that is his distant ancestor? all together, I really enjoyed the finale. I felt like they left it open enough that I'm really excited for next season, but still managed to resolve the plot from this season. Unlike some of my other favorite shows, where I was left screaming at the tv, and now I have to wait until 2008!!! (Darn you Battle Star Galactica, DARN YOU!!!!) |
I was talking about it with Joan and realized that while it was exciting, I was kind of disappointed in many ways.
I thought that the confrontation between Hiro and Sylar was completely anti-climactic. It was silly that Sylar saw Hiro standing so far away and simply allowed Hiro to plunge his sword into him. I expected that Hiro would need to use his powers to vanquish Sylar. Perhaps appearing and disappearing around and distracting him and applying many different approaches and time travel and teleportation and perhaps multiple versions of himnself to sufficiently confuse Sylar to be able to launch a successful attack(s). It made ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE that a man who can stop bullets in flight couldn't stop a normal sword. As an alternative with all the "Heroes" around, they could have partaken in an ad-hoc coordinated attack on Sylar, kind of like a band of Ninjas attacking Bruce Lee, each using their special abilities. Also anti-climactic is the fact that the city didn't blow up. Just thinkin'. |
Ron wrote: Hiro and Sylar was completely anti-climactic.
I thought it was too. I would have much rather that Sylar got killed in the art loft while Hiro was saving his friend. I guess they needed to have the Peter/Sylar duel. Chris, regarding your comment about Peter getting blown into bits, would that have really happened or would all of the energy for the explosion just expel from Peter's hands? I would also like to know the deal about the guy in the wheelchair. That part of the show was a little strange and I can only think that we'll be seeing more of him next season as well. |
