The Wedding is on Saturday!
We're taking off on Wednesday morning so we have to be at the airport at some ungodly hour. James and I made a vow to actually get there early like we're supposed to, too. The last time we had to run and just made it through the door to the walkway to the plane as it was closing. Not cool. One of the weirdest things that I keep thinking of is that we're gonna be away from the dogs for such a long time. I know they're in good hands so I'm not worried but we're dropping them off on Tuesday night and it's the night without them in the house that I dread. I miss those dummies when they aren't around and Bear, Clyde and I have such a bedtime routine that, to go without them, seem so weird. Lucy always does her own thing so it isn't as obvious that she's not there but the boys are glued to me all the time. So, other than missing my furkids, I guess I'm all set. Thanks to everyone for all your well wishes and we'll have lots of pics when we come back. I'm actually taking the computer with me so you might not be rid of me for the week after all.  |

I WAS JUST ABOUT TO MAKE A POST ASKING!!! SO GLAD YOU DID!!! HOLY COW~~~ I can't imagine how stoked you are!!! 
I'm crossing my fingers that things go perfect!!! i know you will look beautiful. Enjoy your day and please remember to get a BIG piece of cake!!! We had a wedding coordinator box us a piece so we wouldn't forget but when we got to our hotel, it was this tiny little thing... we were both upset because it was so good but we had to fight over the few bites there were (and we were starving)!!!!

And one small smidgen of advice (I know you're sick of it, but this is good I promise!!!! Feel free to imagine hitting me over the head with a large stick if it makes you feel better )
If you have decorations or other items needed for the ceremony or reception in your bags, hoist them off when you get there to someone else right away! I left the decorations I'd worked on for MONTHS in the trunk of my car thinking I'd have someone grab them, and they never made it to the reception.  And order something fun from room service from the hotel you and hubby retire to after the reception. Best thing I did for myself all night. YUMMY!!!!!

How exciting! I totally know what you mean about the dogs--when we went on our trip we had to drop Barney off the night before since we were leaving at 4 am. It makes getting ready for bed and waking up amazingly fast, though...no walking around dogs to slow you down. Good luck!! |

| Best of luck! When you are standing there in front of all your family and friends take a moment to really soak it all in. It's an amazing experience to think all of these people have gathered to share in your special day. Sounds corny, I know. But seriously after all the planning that goes into a wedding...the day itself flies past. Just enjoy every minute. |

I am as un-wedding oriented as anyone could possibly be short of being a man! On the plus side, we don't have any of that junk to worry about. Treasure Island decorates the boat for us and all we have for the reception is placecards, which I'll be printing tomorrow and immediately handing over a a friend who volunteered to go to the reception site early and set them up. I like the room service idea, though. I think we're going to be going out the wedding night but it sounds like the perfect idea for breakfast! For some reason, as far as the hotel goes, I am most excited that it has 2 bathrooms in the room, aren't I are a nerd? It's a pretty good sized room. Enjoy every minute of your BIG day! You've probably already heard it but everyone who said it to me was right.... something will go wrong, just don't sweat it and enjoy the day! Can't wait to see pictures!

We're bringing them. Mine has a slot for my memory card too so it shouldn't be too big of deal. By the way, as much as I appreciate the wedding wishes, how about some "win big in Vegas" wishes, too? We're planning to pay some poker tournaments (we're both pretty serious players) so a nice payout would really make the whole wedding week! |

I am so excited, I land at 10:30 Thursday night and I will have a car if you need any running around to be done, we are also staying at the TI in a suite. We can go gamble together. I can't wait to see how gorgeous Jill is going to look and I too will have my laptop so we can download the pics from my camera for all of you. This is going to be so exciting!!! I can't wait!!! |

You sound just like a friend of mine as far as being "unwedding". She jetted off to Vegas to get married on Good Friday. She's a total tomboy and actually started planning a wedding here with a reception hall and everything. After about 2 weeks of investigating, she said screw it! |

| I think Laurel and I frogot to tell you the one thing that will garnetee a stress free wedding. You must have one person that you had to invite that everyone else will hate and have to talk about. It takes the stress off you, because anything that goes wrong is their fault.
