When Max walks- he hunches his back in the middle- like a cat would when they were afraid or hissing... He has done it a little bit before- but today it was so nice out- and we were in the yard working. Because we live so far off the road Max was off a leash and really enjoying getting around on his own. But we noticed that he hunched more, or, maybe I should say "hooved" more- at one point he almost brought his back legs clear off the ground. Have you seen this in Chummie- or has anyone else had this happen after an injury? Thanks so much- oh- and Max is just wearing himself out walking all around the place! We are just amazed every day at the way he improves!!! Your well wishes and good thoughts have brought us far!! |

Did you check his back end for any clingons? Hopefully it's just something dumb and little like that and no new injuries.
Keep up the good work Max!! (You know that I love anyone named Max! ) |

This is not something that sounds familiar to me. I do recall that Carrie warned me about maintaining spine flexibility -- you don't want them to lock into a hunched position. Can he straighten out when he is not walking? I wonder if he is compensating for some kind of pain?
I would call Carrie and ask her about this. |
