Wanting to adopt an adult OES in Michigan
A little bit about us: Adopter's Names: Sandy and Danny Address: Royal Oak. MI How long have you been looking for an OES?: about a month or so Do you own any other animals at the present time?: Yes. Jazzy is avery friendly female dog, mixed breed, adopted 7 years ago, spayed, up to date on all shots. Have you ever owned an OES before? Yes, about 20 years ago. I miss the breed terribly. Reason for Adopting: Family Pet Do you own your own home?: Yes How long have you lived at this address?: 4 years How many people live in your household?: 2 adults (in our mid 50s) How many children in the home?: 0 Who will mainly be responsible for the pet? me Are you presently employed?: Yes Occupation:: Writer/editor Will this pet be living inside/outside or both?: Mainly inside Do you have a completely fenced in yard?: yes Fence Type:: Chain Link/Wood Fence Height: 4-5 ft How many hours a day will the animal be left alone?: 0-8 Depends on the day. We often work from home What will you do with the pet when you go on vacation?: Neighbor will dog sit or the OES may go with us. For what reason would you consider returning/giving up the OES :: I can't think of any reason What would you do with the animal if you had to move?: The dog would move with us Would you object to someone coming to visit your home to check the animal?: Absolutely no objection |

| Have you applied with any OES rescues or checked PetFinder?
Link to petfinder Below are some rescues near us. Note that rescues don't always post all the sheepies that are available for adoption and it's important to get on their list. And it's a good idea to include in your information that you've never lost a pet or lost a pet to an accident if this is true. We adopted a "special" sheepie from NEOESR and she flew to Detroit from Pennsylvania... she was from New Jersey. Not all rescues will fly their dogs... and it depends greatly on the individual dog. | I'll come home check you if a rescue calls for it. I live a few minutes away in Ferndale so I can probably be over in about 5 minutes! Do you guys ever go to the dog park at 12 and Campbell? We just went for the first time the other day and had a really good experience.
