what is a good weight?

| Panda is 23 1/2 at the shoulders. She weighs 63 pounds as of last yrs check up....You can feel her ribs, but you cannot see them....I think that is the key...if you can see the ribs, thats too thin, but if you can feel them and not see them, youre doing good.
Like a human, I think there is a weight range. Panda looks great from about 58-65 pounds...she has a lot of muscle and gets tons of exercise.... We started out feeding her 4 cups of food a day, but she never finished it. So we slowly cut her food back by half a cup till we reached 3 cups a day....now she eats it all without too much fuss.... |
| If you're not sure, I'd ask your vet. He or she can give you a pretty accurate assessment by feeling your dog's bone structure and musculature. Every dog is definitely different. |

| Rags is 26 inches and weighs @ 70 lbs and is the perfect weight for her body.
Pepsi is 23 inches and weighs @ 75 lbs. He is a bit overweight for his build. |

Oh my the poor thing. I was sick all Easter weekend. Stuck in bed for four days. Enough strength to put her out for pottie, no walks. My boyfriend came by one evening. Well she was very good girl until last night she let it out. ran circles from the sun room to the living room, once in the living room jumping from coach to coach. Completely crazy! There was no stopping her. I owe her big time. I won't talk about how she jumped straight on me  NAUGHTY! |
Wow, I'm sorry to hear you spent your Easter so sick!  Are you feeling better now?

Well I am suffering through a day of work; still not completely better. Well it has been a long time since I have been sick... I think that makes for a bigger complainer you forget how much it hurts and sucks!
