Reinforcement to the rescue....
She had seen Pepsi pick up Daddy's flip flop earlier and was playing tug with it with Lacey. Of course Pepsi and Lacey got in trouble and I made them drop it. Not even 5 minutes goes by and I look up and see Rags chewing on it. I yell at her to drop it, she looks up at me with the same look as my avatar.... she just looks at me.  So again I tell her to drop it.
Pepsi comes to rescue..... When I gave Rags the second drop it command he picked up his paw and swatted her on the butt. 
She again didn't listen, just turned around and gave him the evil eye. So I gave the command once again and he swats her once again. This time she finally listened and dropped it. He then came around the front of her and gave her a kiss. What a good brother!!! |

No, he doesn't like to get in trouble. So he knew that what she was doing was wrong....especially after I reprimanded him for it. But she wasn't allowed to do it if he couldn't , so he was making her drop it.
Pepsi is very smart, with most thing you only have to tell him to stop doing stuff once and he'll never do it again. Counter surfing and barking and jumping are another story. |
