Max lifts his leg to pee.. :) :)
Never thought seeing Max trying to lift his legs to pee would make me so happy 
Although he fell over ... when we went out this evening he tried to raise his leg on the lilac bush!! What a beautiful site! 
He held his self on one leg for a split second- and it was wonderful to watch.... I will refrain from giving you the details when he does the "other" in a normal stance  |

How is his spine? Is he hunched or is he able to straighten his rear legs? He hunches when he tries to move too fast... and we stop him and encourage him to slow down and move slower - and steadier. When he does that - he is able to straighten his legs fully. The other night I fell asleep on the couch in the den.. and woke up and he was staring me in the face. Don't know how long he was standing there- not long I am sure.. but it was startling for him to be looking at me from that position. It seems like it has been forever since he was well!! His checkup with the surgeon is this week... I'll have more info then! The regular doc thinks he is doing super. |
