Rest in peace, baby Squish
I just wanted to let you know that Squish died today. 
I'm not ready to talk about it... but I know many forum members are attached to her too. She had severe heart damage, most likely from being laid on when she was little, and the stress of the trip to the vet put her into failure. He said she would have no chance no matter what we tried so I had to have her put to sleep. I had her sent to a cardiac specialist in Guelph to be certain it is in fact from being laid on and not some congenital defect I should know about. I miss her so much... it just seems so wrong, poor innocent baby, and she fought so hard to overcome everything. Stacey |

| I'm sooo sorry to hear about the loss of your little one! Having raised puppies myself, I know how painful it is to loose one that way. It's hard enough to let them go to their new families when the time comes, but the death of one so young is almost unbearable.
Just as with the loss of a human, there are no answers to our "why's". At least not yet. But, the love they give, and the lessons they teach us in such a short time is amazing. God bless you and yours. Pam |
| I am shocked, I have been busy and am just checking in now...poor puppy. I hope it wasn't a genetic defect, that will be a tough decision for you.
