I've been watching the previews of that but hadn't realized it had started yet. Can't wait to see it! |
Chris and i drv'd it and it really is absolutley incredible. I am pretty sensitive about when an animal gets killed though. One shows a dust storm as the elphants are trying to get to the water and they get lost in the dust storm. A baby gets seperated from the herd and it shows it following the mommas tracks, in the WRONG way. I cried. He was triyin so hard and he would eventually die. i stopped watching after that.
It's wonderful to see the nature but i have a hard time seeing the animals die. But don't get me wrong, i understand the whole survival things and circle of life, i just think it's sad. Shannon M. |
Todd was watching it a couple days ago. I think it was the preview - showing how they made the show. It had INCREDIBLE footage. Wonderful photography. |
We saw it SUnday for the first time, it is GREAT!! |
i have a hard time watching all the animals die as well... i know its nature, but i never thought about how easy of a target the young are. i always have to look away. one of the the episodes they showed some kind of calf (maybe a yak?) and the narrator said while the cafe is very cute (then they show him stumbling around) nature is not very sentimental. right after she said that i knew i was going to have to look away... |
