Yes I was the owner of a naughty Puppy

Yes I was the owner of a naughty puppy

Went outside to check the mail box one day and when on returning and walking in the front door and down the steps to the family room there in the kitchen standing in the sink ( back feet in one side and front feet in the other sink) licking the dripping tap was my naughty puppy brie. 8O

Well my heart went to my throat had visions of her jumping out and nose diving onto a tiled floor, 8O I slowly tip toed around to the kitchen and very quietly and gently grabbed her and put her back down on the floor without saying a word, very unusual for me not to scream

I then wondered how the heck she got up there 8O . Well she obviously got up on the couch in the family room. Took a step from that onto the lower breakfast bench, walked right around and stepped up onto the higher bench and walked right down that bench to the kitchen double sink. My naughty puppy had absolutely no fear of anything and mom had a few new grey hairs 8O

Amazing what puppies can get up to and where they can travel unattended

Anyone else have some amazing puppy naughty stories.?

LOL That is too funny  Silly girl wanted a drink
Good thing you kept your cool and didn't startle her though! :)
Mine actually got something off the top of the fridge
if you can believe that. He climbed stacked wash baskets
onto the washer which is right beside the fridge and just
stood up on his hind legs to get the treats there!
He also got up on the kitchen table once when we were
away and knocked over the chair he needed to get
down. We were away when he did it, and when we got
home he was standing there on the table just whining.

When we were first moving in here our old dog walked
up to the attic, and poked the window screen out with her
nose. When we finally found her she was shaking like a
leaf and crying, with her head stuck out the window. She
was frozen and couldn't back up she was so scared. Poor
old naughty girl. I have never seen anything like it.

Shellie
OH MY SHelllie & Lisaoes you DO HAVE NAUGHTY pups 8O
 I wish you hadn't been too scared to take pictures Lisa!

I just love naughty sheepies! Thanks for the funny stories Lisa and Shellie.
Sounds like a naughty puppy and... a future acrobat or daredevil 8O
GOOD GRIEF! I'm glad Bree and Pip are not in communicating distance! He gets into enough trouble without climbing up onto tables, counters and such!
WOW - I'm amazed. I am glad she got down safely, but I'm also sad you didn't get a pic. . .
Now that the snow has melted and Sophie and Sherman can't escape the back yard by simply walking across the fence, they've put their energy to good use and have learned to open the gate.

Picked up new hardware to hopefully, keep the gate closed last night. Too rainy and windy to install tonight.
A few weeks ago I had Breena out in the yard ( its fenced in) on a windy day. I ran inside to get something and when I looked out the kitchen window she was gone and the wind must have blown our gate open. I ran to the front yard - heart in my throat. She had her leash in her mouth and was sitting on the corner. She had taken herself for a walk but knows she has to sit at corners when we go on walks and we have to stay sitting until mom says we can go. I was so glad I started making her sit at corners on our walks.
Sounds like a good candidate for Agility. Let the training begin. You could alway use a tetter board in your kitchen and a few tunnels under the tables. Never discourage genius!
Breena is like the little girl who ran away from home. Only she didn't get far because she was not allowed to cross the street alone,
Breena is just like that. I can picture her right now with a suit case in her mouth and her kong laying next to her. She doesn't like her teddy bear. Beats him up everytime she gets in trouble.
Great Stories!
Pepsi can unlock and open doors. 8O Well so far he can only open hollow door.

She is just remarkable. :phew: Could have been very different outcome.
