Petrapport Issues Recall of Pig Ear Dog Treats Because of Salmonella Contamination. They were imported from a Chilean company during the period August 2006 through December 2006 because the pig ears have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism that can cause serious infections in dogs. http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls/rssRecalls.xml |

I wish there was one page with all the recalls, so we didn't have to keep up with each site. My mom has given me cases of different treats for cats, even bone-like things for cats (long stick that's either a bone or beef jerky), so it would make it easier for me to sort through them. |
J, the long stick things you are talking about (if they are the one I am thinking about ) are called 'bully sticks'. I Just about died when I found out what they were. 'Bull penises' http://www.sitstay.com/store/edibles/chews1.shtml.
I am sure most of you know this, but OMG I could not believe what they were. J look at the link and see if that is what you got. I heard dogs love them but YUCK!!!!!!!! LOL.......... Antoinette |
