So for Maggie, I chose Psychedelic Flowers and for Chumley, I chose Vintage Jubilee. I am not sure how the "nubby" texture will be but I liked the pattern. For a mod boy, I like many: Hippest Retro Dots Yet Now this is Retro Baby Ribbon Collar Unmistakably Cool is rather elegant Vintage Sailor looks cool and crisp for summer And Hey That's a Cool Collar is also a nice summery look. Waiting til Christmas seems very hard. . . |

I liked those you picked - esp the "this is retro" ribbon collar , and the retro dots. I also liked the Fabulous 50's Diner and Off to the Office Dotty Blue Brown . The collar Clay has now is blue and aqua - with sea turtles on it! |

| Oh those are such nice collars! I love the ones you chose for Maggie and Chum, I can't wait 'til you get them and take pics for us.
I just might have to order some for my crew..... I said I wasn't going to get a new collar for Scarlet...we have loads of baby collars...but while at Petsmart, there was one I couldn't resist...its red of course

| We got the collars and they are getting lots of compliments! They are really well made and the fabric colors and patterns really stand out. The material feels kind of cottony and so I am a bit worried they will get dirty easily. I plan to scotchguard them. . .

| I just wanted to report that the collars and harness are holding up really well! They get lots of compliments too.
Maggie's has gotten soaked through with mud many times (no surprise there). When it is wet, it kind of stretches out so it would not be good for a dog that is an escape artist. The fabric washes well and shrinks back to the right size. It is getting soft, faded and comfy like a pair of favorite jeans. At my request, Rebecca at Retro-Pet designed this custom couture collar for Chumley to wear at Sheepiepalooza. She sent me a picture. I should receive it next week for Chum to model but I wanted to share it in advance: 
I think that pink is going to look so pretty on her! The bouquet is beautiful. It will be interesting to see whether it stays up on her neck or slips around to the front. . . |
