Pittsburgh Show
We just got back from Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Old English Sheepdog Club holds a Specialty every year around this time. (A Specialty is where they have just one breed competing and they have cool prizes for everybody and it's people coming from all over, etc.) This year they actually did three shows in one day. Phew! First show was puppy sweepstakes. I took Suzi's half brother out for that. His first show and he did pretty well. He won his class (he was the only one in the class  ) and he did very, very well in the big ring.
The third show, we're doing them out of order for a reason, was the second of the two Specialties. Suzi took Best of Opposite Sex and won a really nice OES throw blanket. I snuck it out of the ring so no one else saw it and it actually made it to my house without a fight! (Suzi's dad's owner and her Suzi's breeder always try to make off with my prizes! Weasels!!) The second show was the first of two Specialties. Wyatt/Aiden (Suzi's half brother who's name we are still debating ) did extremely well in this show too. He took his class, only one again, and he took Reserve Winner's Dog. WooHoo!! Pretty cool for his first day out!
For this show, Suzi actually did some really good work; she took the WHOLE THING!! She went Best of Breed at the Specialty which now makes her BISS CH. Capricorn's Classic Commotion. She will no longer answer to just Suzi and wishes to be addressed by her full name including titles from now on! 
No, no pictures. Blame VerveUp, she didn't go. Everybody else just wanted to watch so when I get the show photo, I'll have to post it. OH! Funny story to go with the show photo. We were posing for the pic with the judge, she tells the photographer that she wants to see the picture, tells the photog that she doesn't like it, wants it done again. It is at this point when I realize that I forgot to give her the ribbon and I've been wearing in on my beltline the whole time like they do at Crufts!! (If nothing else, Jill will find that funny!) |

I really wish it was a sash like Miss America and that the picture had been taken with you wearing that-- but congratulations anyway. 
And you know I like "Wyatt" but you seriously have to make it "Capricorn's Come on Feel the Noize." That may have been the best name idea of the decade. Quiet Wyatt! |

| Way to go, Mandy and Suzi!! Tell that little girl not to get such a swelled head. She still pees and poops like any other dog!! (Couldn't very well say that she puts her pants on one leg at a time like everyone, now could I?? ) |
