Happens to me too... |
Is it possible that it is water retention? |
I have no idea....
I did notice that my metabolism is getting much much slower..... I could see maybe a few pounds, but 15 in 3 weeks...?? That's crazy.... I went from 105lbs about 4 years ago to a whopping 170lbs....it started when I got really sick a few years ago with walking pneumonia... I'm going to do some extra running with Matisse and Chelsea |
If you are having more excersise could it be muscle weight? Muscle is heavier than fat.
I have the same problem, I lost over a stone (don't know what that is in pounds) but its all piling back on now I'm trying to speed up my metabolism by eating celery every few hours. |
Have you had your thyroid checked ? |
No, but I'm probably going to find out what's going on with a professional really soon..... |
Oh I'm with you on this one - I lost over a stone (14lbs) before xmas and within 4 weeks I put the lot back on. In all honesty, I only have me to blame - I really did over eat and I didn't think it was that bad. Its when you start to write it all down, you just don't realise how many calories you consume - I'm not saying this is you, but the odd boiled sweet or odd biscuit, really does make me pile the pounds on. |

Funny this should come up again, as I just went through the same thing again. I lost about 13 lbs over a couple of weeks and gained back 7 in a few days I have to look on the bright side though, I am still 6 lbs lighter than I was 2 weeks ago. |
I'm going to count calories, I'm fed up with Weight Watchers (although I still point all my foods lol) yes it works very well, but after a while you just get fed up of it, so I'm going to do it the old fashioned way. For my height and weight, I need to eat 1350 calories a day to get 2lbs off a week. Its 2000 cals a day for women to maintain their weight. The diet starts today !!!!! |
