That's fantastic! Congratulations!
Now where are some pictures of your Pyr mix rescue? |
THAT IS AWESOME!!!
You're so lucky!!!! Pay off my bills too, kay?! |
Great!!! Now make him QUIT while you're ahead.
If it was paid by check, and it's an overseas check, I'd wait a few weeks before spending it. Giving you a FAKE payout (or one that bounces) might be a way to entice you to play more with REAL money. PLEASE be careful. |
That is awesome! I am so happy for you! |
CONGRATULATIONS!!! |
CONGRATULATIONS, I do hope it works out for you...... I have heard of so many people who have lost big in online gambling scams. |
yay i know, i was wondering about the scams and since it is gambling which is illegal in texas.... hubby, company and bank says it is all legite. And the money is already there. My husband explained it to me, but it was all complicated. Something about the new laws are against the company not the indivdual so ,.... whatever that all means.
i already put the payment online for Bank of America! Shannon |
Congratulations! Paying off your debt is the smartest thing to do with the money too! |
Gambling is illegal in Texas??? |
Yippee!!!! Congrats! Its really cool to win, isn't it???????? |
I'm pretty sure it's illegal?!?! Like lotto tickets aren't but casino things are and gaming sites fall under that roof, the online casino sites have to work it a certain way to stay under the law but it is legal.
I'm really glad he won that, it takes out the smaller amounts of credit debt that were stil hanging on, totally out of the picture. Now we have more $$$$ a month for new upgrades to our new house. BTW we didn't have a lot of debt for two young college people, only about $2,000. That is what helped buy our awesome house, good creit scores. (I'm really not braggin, i am fully aware where all these blessings are comin from) Our parents helped us alot, and we have been very future oriented since we met each other with planning and such. I don't know if i told anybody this, but Chris's tution is 85% paid for b/c his mom is a professor there and something got done with his monies that they gave him $1800 BACK, that is loan free money. So we paid his parents back from along time ago and HE bought a 50' LCD flatscreen tv!!! Completely uneccessary purchase, but i figured if ya can't have a little fun now, when can you Beside he would have bugged me for EVER He also felt it improtant to get dish, so now we have a couple hundred channels that i don't really watch. What is the deal with that anyway, unless you are a sports fanatic, like to listen to music on your tv, or feel like paying for PPV movies when your bill is already $100 bucks a month. I don't get it Shannon |
I think the million channel thing is a guy thing. My husband is all about having the most channels, even if we only watch a few of them. I guess it's because a lot of the channel packages only have a couple that we like so we end up having to get a bigger package to make sure we get the ones we want
That's awesome about your debt (or lack of it!). I think gambling in the US is illegal in most states (aside from the lottery and Indian casinos). |

Congratulations! |
We have 2 casinos here in Baton Rouge but both are docked in the Mississippi river. Both are owned by huge corporations.
Congratulations on your winnings. Just remember you have to claim it on your income taxes next year. |
FANTASTIC! You are very wise to pay down your debt and are very fortunate to have such a small amount of debt at a young age. I didn't have any debt coming into my marriage, but hubby had a LOT of college debt which was a huge eye opener for me. IMO, it was a very poor decision for him to go to a very small private school with so many loans. So, we sucked it up, have now paid is all off, gave one loan back to his Dad and here we are. BUt there never seems to be enough... |
