S'more Update-Firmer poop and a happier puppy.
He gave us 2 medicines for her: FortiFlora- a powder to sprinkle on her food Metronidazole 250 mg- although I will have to google that up to figure out what it is~ I think its an antibiotic. He said to continue her on the same food and that the rice and broth that we were adding to it were fine. He believes that this medicine will fix her up and that she will be as good as new. He did say that if it doesn't that they will look deeper and run some tests, but he was optimistic that we wouldn't need to do that. It's only been 2 days, but I swear that she looks 10 pounds heavier already. Her stools have thickened up (which has made the kids happy since they clean up the yard after she's done with her business  )
This morning she was jumping about and playing in the kitchen like a deer romping through a meadow! It's amazing- we have only had her a month and we just love that goofy little dog to pieces. Thank you for all your advice, concern, and friendship. As first time "Sheepie" owners, we just don't want to do the wrong thing. I will let you all know how she is when she finishes up her medicine. It's a regular staple at our home. Our three go out a lot and spend a lot of time with other dogs at parks and different day cares and tend to pick things up easily and then they give it to each other. It does work quickly and will help a lot. |

My kids are great~ Lauren who's sleeping with S'more wants to be a vet- She's 9 and has been talking about it for 2 years already. Her love of animals is amazing. She's already got S'more fetching a ball and bringing it back to her. I need to post a picture of our little guy- he's cute too, but S'more tends to kiss him too much and it makes him cranky Holly |

| Great news about S'More! I beleive that medication with the M...I think its known as Flagyl. Its great for killing off bacteria and or parasites in the intestines. People take it too for the same problem...In fact, I had to take it once myself!
Hope she continues to do well...she sure has the love, that's for sure! |

S'more's sleeping position is so funny. I have a picture of my Rags with her body in the hallway and her head and shoulders dropped down into the floor in the sunken living room (small step down from the hallway). Looks so uncomfortable, yet she seems to enjoy the position.  |
