Our 10th month old girl was the smallest in her litter and today only weighs 40 lbs. She is healthy and energetic but we thought she would be bigger by now. For us it doesn't really matter how big or small she is.....we love all of her. I just was hoping to get some insight on how to judge if she is full grown, almost there????? Any pictures of other girls at this age might be great comparisons too. Thanks!! |

My girl Dancer was about 40 lbs at ten months... she's a little dog, but is now about 55 lbs
Here is a pic of her last summer shaved |
Miss Ellie, now 4 years old, was the smallest of her litter
She weighed in at 39 pounds at 1 year. Her weight increased to 44 pounds at 2. She stayed at that weight, looking way to thin, until her third birthday. At 3 she filled out nicely, seemingly overnight, and has maintained between 50-51 pounds. I figure Ellie is as close as I'll get to having an "accessory" dog. Look out Paris Hilton |
Remy is smaller than other littermates as well. Currently she is around 70lbs. But during the summer when all of us are more active, she is more like a 60-65 toned muscular girl.
If I remember she was approx 68lbs last fall. She will be 5 yrs this June. |
Abby (aka the bunny hopper) is 18 months old and wieghs 49lbs. She was the smallest of her litter.

London is going to be a year old in a few weeks and she only weighs 55 lbs. This will give you a reference in this picture, London is the one in the back and isn't nearly as tall as the other 2 sheepies:
And this is her at 11 mths old shaved down: |
