Guess how much he weighs now?
 And here I thought he was finished growing.
His staph infection by the way has all cleared up but he has been still chewing on his butt. So we are thinking allergys now of some sort. He's on pills to help with the itching and then after that sigh....probably more vet visits and the slow process of figuring out what is causing it. I think i need to invest in some vet stock. |

18 MONTHS!!!! GOODHEAVENS! He's only about 10 months still. When he was little it was like you could almost see him grow. And I haven't been able to notice him growing any more. So I thought, mistakenly, that maybe he was done with all of that. 
I don't know. I would love to get together for another play date. Edgar only has tennis balls to catch and cats that don't want to play with him. Basically he goes around playing a poor me violin all the time. We took him to that park we met at before two weeks ago to play. But none of the other dogs wanted to. They just wanted to eat him.  |

Like Sue said, I think you have a while to go before he's done growing! He might be done with the quick spurts where you can practically see him grow, but Barney definitely kept going until about 18 months. We thought Barney was about done and we had taken him to the vet for something when he was a little over a year and he weighed 72 pounds...we took him back for something a few months later and he weighed 98!! |
I thought that about Beaureguard a few times, too.  But he kept growing until he was about 18-20 months old. My nephew called him Clifford (the Big Red Dog) "he keeps growing and growing...." |
| WHAT! More to go I miss "seeing" Fozzie grow each day. He's been at 65 pounds now for several months. I imagine he'll probably grow outward instead of us. At least I hope so!
Crustybirds, have they checked Edgar's anal glands? Full glands may be causing him to chew at his butt. They may need to be expressed by the vet tech. We have Foz's expressed now every months and now has some pumpkin in his food to assist in pushing everything out. ick! |
| Chewie is 64 pounds also - last week! He is 11 months. He is not done growing yet - but won't get much taller. he still is a wiry boy under all the hair. |
| Today is Sophie and Sherman's First Birthday! I had them both in to be weighed and for a check up for Sophie (who has a small growth between her pads. I found it last night and it's a wait and se thing). Sophie weighs 78 lbs and Sherman is 93 lbs. Sophie is a tad rounder than I think she should be; Sherman is quite lanky. I'm expecting him to add some pounds, although his appetite has slowed down dramatically. |
| Well Miley is weighing in at 65 lbs at 10 months. I keep wondering is she id done growing in height. I was assuming she would fill-out more. My Dad says she is still too skinny as you can still feel ribs. But its so hard to tell with all that hair. |
