It could just be dry skin or some sort of allergy but our last OES caught some type of parasite and the flaking skin was one of her symptoms. We tried to treat it as a skin condition with no evail. I would get your pup to the vet it may be something simple that a cream can fix but your vet can pin point if its an allergy or something serious, like it was for Mandy. |
Probably best to take her to the vet and have a skin scraping done to rule out maybe ringworm or something like that.
If negative to anything on a skin scraping, then add Omega Oils to her diet and it should help the skin problem. Cold pressed flax seed oil is a good one. Some pet shops sell a mixed omega blend also, just an additive you can pop on her meal each night to help the flakeys. |
Fiona is fine , went to the vet she is doing well , got some cortz spray and she has cleared up .. |
