Marley,
Wow, what a great update on Mopsey! She sounds like such a sweet ball of fur. That is so great that potty training and commands are going so well. They are such smart dogs, aren't they. I check out ebay often for OES and Ragdoll things, they do have tons of things to buy. I guess I should start hinting that to my family. LOL Let's see here, updates on my crew......Jack has learned to catch a ball in the air. He is very proud of himself and will bring the ball back and put the wet thing in my lap so that we can do it over and over and over. Are you getting the picture. LOL He is such a goofy big guy. Annabelle is my bouncy happy girl, and seems to get bouncier by the day. I am not kidding, she is forgetting how to walk at times, she can just tigger hop and get there funner and faster. She is a hoot to see, especially when she and Jack play together. The biggest news to date though. Is my Raggies, Berlioz and Marie have bred, and hopefully it was successful. If so, we will have our first Ragdoll babies in less than a couple of months. I can't tell you how excited we are! Ragdolls on average have 2-5 babies and we already have homes for 2 possibly 3. My kids start back to school in less than 2 weeks now, that is the one update that I don't like. I know they are excited though. At least they haven't got old enough to say they don't like school yet. THat is a plus. LOL Thanks for the MOPhead update. LOL Stormi and co. |
Stormi-
Have you decided on a cattery name yet? And let me know when the kittens arrive, I may be interested in one. |
Hi Brenda,
LOL, have I got a cattery name yet? Well....I have a lot of ideas in my head, and a couple that are really sticking, this seems harder than naming my children. The name that is sticking the most and that could change any moment is Familytime Rags. Only time will tell. My Dad is planning on one of the kittens, and I am planning on showing the kitten he chooses. I will let the everyone know when kittens arrive, as I wouldn't be able to contain my excitement. My husband is already making the whelping box for me in our master closet. If it were up to her, she would have kittens on my bed, that is where she loves to be. LOL Stormi |
Oh I am so excited! Baby kittens! Do keep us updated on that. How will you know if she is pregnant? Can you get a cattagram? Your furkids sound great! I am really thinking of getting another, maybe in a year? They are really fantastic dogs. I am so happy that I chose this breed! |
Marley, it sounds like you are doing an awesome job with Mopsey! Did you use crate training for her? I thought I remembered you saying that didn't really work for you, what has your routine been? Crate training didn't work for Dancer, but I think it will for Sky. Dancer is doing better, or at least she was, with Sky home now there have been a few accidents from Dancer, and only 2 from Sky. I think Dancer will be fine, she has no accidents as long as my eye is on her non stop. She is still stubborn though, after she pees outside in the morning if I keep her with me at all times she will hold it ALLLLL day, she doesn't want to pee outside, and seems to still just not want to pee when she knows I am looking.
Sky is being crate trained and is doing great. She did pee in her crate in the night though But she woke me at 6am and when I took her out she peed outside. Dancer is too rambunctious with Sky though, so for now I am going to only have one out of their crate at a time, unless I am supervising them very closely, and even then just for a few minutes of play. Stormi, I am so excited about your upcoming kittens! I want one so badly, but I don't know if it would be good for a kitten to ship such a far distance, and it's a 22 hour drive Still, I wish you the best of luck, and I'm sure everything will go great! I want lots of pics though! |
Hmmmm, right after I posted, Mopsey had diareah all over my living room rug! I think she got upset about being in the living room while we were busy putting in a window in the kitchen. Steve said that sheepdogs are very imotional and get upset easily. Sigh. I thought it was because I give her cottage cheese mixed in in her food, but she took another poop outside an hour or so later, and it was fine. Guess hubby is right. She is really just like a child. My poor baby got upset because I left her alone. And she knew that we were right outside and felt leftout. |
