Wow, that is a great deal! |
Yea I paid 100.00 for Phoebe to get done a while ago I am taking my mom's puppy to save the vet fee |
I just sent the info to my friend in the Chicago area.
Wow $100 is a lot. Where did you have it done? The most I paid for micro-chipping was $25 at the local spay and neuter clinic.... The least I paid was $10 at the Shelter. I refused to pay twice as much at the Vet for the same exact microchip. |
The vet charged me $100 which of course included the office visit. Yes, I got taken but she is on call any time I need her too I actually have her home and cell number so she probably made up for it. She actually charged me 85.00 for the collie when I had her done the year before Phoebe |
I can tell you I paid 400.00 for spaying guess I should have gone to the shelter for that too. |

OUCH!! |
But I guess it all evens out when you think about the outrageously cheap prices you had been paying for grooming. |
Sorry about hijacking the thread but I have a question, 2 of mine have the Home Again microchip and one has an Avid chip. Do I need to have the one chipped again with a Home Again chip?
And I so wish they would do the cheap mircochipping here in Baton Rouge. |
I don't know the ones they are giving are the Avid chips I would think each company share information |
The shelters have universal readers so they can detect all chips.
Avid and Home Again are the two most popular. |
