Own internet site
My sister is wanting to get a site up and running but we have no idea where to start. Our internet carrier offers a site as part of its package but, it is very limited. Any suggestions? |

| Depends what she wants to do with it. Just put up photos, advertise a business, etc.? What kind of graphic software does she use right now, Microsoft Word, photoshop, etc.? Her internet provider probably also has some kind of web building package but sometimes they can be difficult to use. |
| She is an acupuncturist. She wants to do an informational site. No selling, just things about her business, acupuncture, chinese herbs... Probably some pictures and a link for people to e-mail her. |

I personally like to think for someone who knows very little able making a homepage, mine doesn't look nearly as sloppy or unprofessional as the thousands I see when dog searching. |

| Netscape has a very easy to use web page builder it's called Composer
I just set up a digital painting forum and after pulling my hair out trying to get the album integrated with a phpbb site (ask Ron LOL )I gave up and went with SMF and it is hosted by https://www.siteground.com/ and it is not expensive ... 5.00 US a month and 15.00 for a domain name, they have lots of prog. that you can build your pages with Hope this gives you some Idea of what one can do  |
