Barney's NOT boring...he's entertaining!
First, Barney likes his treats, but has never been super food oriented. There was a period a few months ago when we could barely get him to eat his breakfast or dinner at all. He'd be like, okay, I guess I'll eat. NOW...starting when I wake up and get out of the shower he starts to do his FEED ME dance...he bounces and rears up and jumps (well, a Barney jump, which isn't much of one) from side to side. If I don't immediately go to feed him, he runs to me, bows, backs up, runs to the kitchen, looks back at me and runs back to me. Such a frenzy of energy! And he does this at night too (although we feed him at 6ish, he's been starting this dance and staring at me around 4pm!). He's acting more like a puppy now than he did when he WAS a puppy. Then, last night, in total cahoots with the cats...I'm sitting in a chair watching tv and Barney comes in to sit by me on the floor in his bone chewing spot...I don't think anything of it...until I notice it isn't crunching like a bone would...he had a loaf of bread!! The cat must have knocked it off the counter and somehow taken it out of the Ziploc bag. He just let me take it from him without a fight, kind of like, eh I tried. |

| Oh Oh time to fess up and admit that Barney has been in secret contact with Merlin to find how to be more mischievious. Bread stealer!!! Yup, sounds like it's working!!!
