He is all white and super mellow, oh and clumsy I have been brushing him everyday b/c we have been trying to kill these weeds that have little stickers that get in his coat. I have a two in one, cheap, pin brush and bristle combo and then a slicker brush. I work out the leaves and stuff with the bristles then the pin brush side to get the tuff stuff out and then i complete it with th slicker brush. We have two problems really. I think i am damaging his coat with the slicker brush, b/c he is super soft and looks really good but his fur is really fuzzy and just looks like ya brushed one too many times. What should i do, any different tools i should be using??? 2nd, he loves to chew and it is hard for me to pick out the stickers without him chopping on anything his mouth comes across. Should i mention he is sitting in my lap!!! So being a bad momma i let him chew on one brush while i use the other and this seems to keep him happy. I know this is not ideal. How do you guys keep your young doggies from squirmnig all over the place?? I have been looking online for the past two hours and there really isn't anything helpful on the prys sites.... I swear once i get home there will be pictures Shannon |

I'm not sure about his coat, but if it is anything like on OES he needs a pin brush without pins on the ends. I also would lightly mist his coat with water before you groom. Hope it helps! |
For a shedding breed like a pyr I would think you want a pin brush WITH the heads on the pins to remove as much dead coat as possible? |
