Have a safe trip! You should take pics of your hopefully fun trip, and write down places that allow pets!  Hope you pack lots of goodies! I love snacks on the road.
I have friends who just traveled from Georgia to Colorado. Of course they kept going to alaska.  When we moved up here, my husband traveled from Georgia too. He did not want to be in a car for a long time after that. |

Dogfriendly.com is incredibly helpful in finding great places to stop along the way -- hotels, dogparks, etc. There are great dogparks in Nashville TN and Kansas City KS. . . Hope you have a fun drive. |

While you were in Georgia you could have made a trip to visit Louisiana ummm ok visit London and let them play for a day or too.

| Wish I would have had more time to visit all but had to see my brother and his new baby, yes I am an uncle and Obe has a cousin. I was in Clayton, Ga very north east corner up in the mountains. I helped build an addition on to the restaurant my parents own as well. It has been great and enjoyed it. To any who visit the area, there is a restaurant and 4 cabins here in Clayton called the Stockton House, web site is www.thestocktonhouse.com (am I allowed to post a website?). They now know what it is like to have a sheepie around and well lets just they are hooked. Dogs are more than welcome to stay in rooms as both my parents are very dog friendly. Tell them Shon sent you. Talk to everyone in a few days. |

We have a cabin on Lake Burton just a stones throw from the wonderful little town of Clayton, GA 
We spend a lot of time up there so.... If your family needs a dose of sheepie please let me know & we will make a home visit to the Stockton House Please let me know when you return to N. GA

| I will stay in contact and let you know when we are in the area of Clayton again. My parents would love to see your dogs as they have fallen for sheepies are seeing Obe for a couple of months.
They just added a new expansion on to the restuarant so next time you are in Clayton be sure to check it out. |
