Thanks for the info |
I noticed you live in NJ..I am in NY..with the snow and ice we've had, did you use any salt on your driveway or sidewalk or anywhere your dog could have gotten it on his paws? That could be irritating him...We bought special salt type de icing stuff specially designed so dogs will not get their paws irraitated if they step on it. |
wow I didnt even think of that , that can very well be what is causeing it thanks alot!!!! |
This winter weather and the wind chill has been
difficult. For snow or ice storms, we have used Safe Paw for the icey deck. Just make sure Harry does not lick or eat any of it. I hold Bogart on a short lead until we are off the deck. http://www.safepaw.com/common_questions.html *Wipe Harry's paws off each time you come into the house with a soft towel. Take the ice or snow out gently between the paws as well. * We use Bag Balm and apply a thin layer before bedtime. Hope Harry feels better! (Or you could always move to Hawaii ) |
Zahara, I am with you to Hawai
No fooling, the salt can do it...we also have the safe paws stuff. And I always wash and dry his feet off when we come in and check between the pads for any ice or snow bits......of course you can always get doggy boots... You can buy the safe paws at Petco I believe...My husband got it at a regular pet supply store but I think I saw it at Petco too.. |
Hi Ashley,
We get the Safe Paw at Petco. But we dream of the tropical breezes in Hawaii. Aloha Ashley |
Hope Harry's paws are better soon |
