Traveling to Nova Scotia
I am so excited I get to travel to Nova Scotia for work April 10-13. Does anyone know what the weather is like at that time. I heard it is beautiful I will have some free time in the evenings so I need to know where to go and what to see. I also plan on eating Lobster morning noon and night since I have heard it is the best there. I have to stay in Darthmouth so I will be looking for a hotel if anyone knows of any around there. |

| That is exciting!!! Where in Dartmouth are you staying.. I live in Dartmouth... as to what to wear.. well right now we are in the middle of a deep freeze.. it was -29 today, but hopefully, but the 10th of April it will have warmed up some and spring will be on it's way.

| I don't know where we will be staying. I need to find a hotel today since time is running out. I have to be a new Michaels Arts and Crafts taht is being built in Darthmouth the address is Civic #15 L:emlair Row Rd
So I need to find somewhere close to there. I don't know if I am ready for -29. I grew up in Chicago and remember once or twice where we had that deep freese of -32 but today it is suppose to be close to 50 and I am really looking forward to it. Do you know of any hotels near the Michaels? I am sorta worried about leaving the boys home alone, I've already thretened lives hopefully they believe me. They are very happy about being alone, Gram is going to my brothers so they will have absolutely no supervision. I guess if I can't trust them now I never will be able to. Every other time I have had to travel for work my daughter would be here Since her hubby is back from Iraq they are together in St. Louis. Once I find out where I will be staying I will pm you. If you know of any hotel please let me know. |
| Do you mean the new Michaels Craft shop that is in the new Dartmouth Crossing Shopping area.. big new development, if that is the case, then you should stay at the Park Place Ramada Hotel.. which is in the industraial park where the new Michaels is (The Ramada Hotel is very nice, only minutes).. actually, you could walk if you wanted to to the new store.) Here is their website for reservations. Make sure you tell them you are an employee of a Burnside Park Company (Michaels).. you will get the Park rate. I think it is like 109-129.00 night.

The new Michaels is in a new area that has been developed into big box stores and offices. It is adjacent to the park that we use for dog walking.. they have actually built trails from the park to the new development with a catwalk that goes over the highway, so that in theory.. the people who don't want to shop with their other halfs, can mosey on over to the park and enjoy while waiting. You should be able to mapquest directions from the hotel to the store, but like I said.. it is only minutes.. you can probably walk if you were so inclined. |
| Yes that is the Michaels I am talking about. It is a new prototype store for Michaels in Canada that's why I have to be there I will be providing information for my two clients Mac Phersons Art Supplies and Wilton Industry.
Sounds like your Spring weather is very much like ours. One day it could be 50 the next 5 below. Being a cold weather person I should be fine. I will book at the Ramada then we will meet up I owe you a dinner for all of your help, Thanks |

| They turn 18 April 26th needless to say in the prime of their lives. I have never had a problem with them drinking or anything like that but girls are in their lives now. Both have been told there are no girls allowed in the house when I am not here. I was a little sneeky and asked my neighbor to keep an out out for stange cars in the drive way. and they have been known to have the whole soccer team at my house that makes 18-18 yr olds no adults scarry isn't it |

Ah...to be young again, partying when Mom is away! Now when I get the house to myself, I take a nap! Tough to get old
