Dinner at Ciscos house...
I went over early to help cook (I needed some cooking therapy)..I brought Panda and her bag of necessities... In the bag was her food, toys and several cookies.. Chris and Janna have 3 girls who LOVE Panda, so I brought the cookies so that they could do the ''tricks'' with her.... In the mean time though, before anyone showed up, I am cooking like a fiend in the kitchen...Panda is quiet, but she entertains herself pretty well and I didnt think much of it.... After dinner, I told the girls that we could do tricks with Panda now.....go to the bag which was sitting on the floor on the back side of the island and proceed to grab some cookies.... There werent ANY...I distinctly remember packing a whole bunch.....hmmmmmm... Well it seems that my perfect and well trained beauty does have some sheepdog sneak traits in her after all.... She must have nosed the bag open while I was cooking and ate all of the cookies....quietly.... Lesson learned...either zip the bag closed or put it on a chair....  |

| Ah, yes.... the missing cookie trick. I know it well. Recently, a friend came over and we baked several dozen cookies. When she left, I walked to the door with her. When I returned to the kitchen, there was Truman licking his chops. He had devoured an entire plate of peanutbutter cookies (more than a dozen) in the short time it took to walk to the front door and back. Not only sneaky but speedy! |
