freaked out

so jack, being his normal rippy self, jumped up and grabbed the leash with his mouth. when he fell, one of his teeth fell out, he's in the age range that their teeth normally fall out, but is it bad that it happened while he was being a rip? will he think i caused the pain he must be feeling now?

right now he's eating his dinner like a pig (normal) so i figure he must be ok with the loss of the tooth, i just worry that he will blame me.

LOL, I can't tell you how many puppy teeth I have seen pulled out by play. It is just time for it to come out and the leash helped it a little. LOL. Before you know when you see Jack smile, he will have a lot of big teeth in there. 8O LOL He will be fine and he won't blame you at all. Stormi and co.
i was worried, because on the way back to the playroom from the "bathroom" (backyard) he kept nipping at me. as though he were mad.

shortly after dinner i went to check on him (and get the food) and he was fine, layed on my lap like the big 40 lb baby he is

thanks for easing my mind though.

this website is a godsend for nervous pet owners like myself

:D
LOL, Yes....I was the nervous pet owner, less than a year ago when I joined with my babies. I asked a lot questions. Our vet knew us by first name with us and the dogs, we went there and called with every little concern we had. I am glad they didn't get upset with us, we probably were a little annoying. I am the same way with my children though. The doc know us a little too well.
I am glad the 40 lb lug is doing good and being his lovable, goofy self. My Jack grew just like him....10lbs every month and he tapered off at 9 months at 90lbs, but has lost a little with the summer. Annabelle has some more growing to do, but she has only made it to 65lbs.

Hi Ed, This is me,Robin. Jack sounds alot like his father,Shaggy.Shaggy was always clowing around. When he was ready to settle down his favorite spot was with his head in my lap. The advice you have received was absolutely correct.Their teeth will fall out when they are ready, just so happens the leash helped it along.Sheepies are very forgiving of their uprights,so don't fret. Jack will calm down eventually, except when you pick up a toy,he will be ready to play. When Shaggy hears or sees his leash, he nudges me as if to say,LETS GO! I am so happy you have found this forum with a wealth of love and knowledge of our beloved Sheepies. If I may say so myself,I think Jack in one handsome fella and one lucky boy to have you as his owner.Give him a big smooch and hug from me and the boys,Kenneth & Kyle. Don't forget to email us with his progress and would love to see,Jack,at 40lbs.of fur and energy! Robin
