Personally I'd re home the fiance or try an antihistamine... but that's just me...
If you must re home your oes please, please contact an oes rescue so they can be sure to place your oes with the best possible home suited for him. Here is a link to a list of contacts who are best suited to help you find a home for your oes. http://www.oes.org/html/oes_rescue.shtml |
where do you live? there is alot of help around this forum |
If he is well bred, shouldn't you return him to the breeder? Reputable breeders normally have it in the contract that you return their dogs to them. |
I agree that you should contact the breeder. I know myself, I will always take any dog back, no questions asked. I'm sure your breeder will want to be informed of the dogs new owners if you do happen to find a home on your own. I have a strict contract on all my pups that I must know where they are at all times, and if they are no longer wanted, they come back to me. |
I sure hope you'd ask questions, Amber!
But I know what you meant. |
I guess that came out wrong...ooops
To clarify, what I meant was that I would not judge them for whatever their reason would be. I would just want them to feel comfortable enough with me to be honest and if the dog was not working out to return it to me, instead of taking it to a shelter for example. I was a part in bringing these pups into the world, and I am responsible for them for life. In the past I was asked to check out a dog that was abandoned at a boarding kennel in my area, and it turned out to be one of my pups I had sold. I was so mad that the people never even contacted me, and I felt lucky that within hours thanks to the close network of OES people here in Ontario I was able to get her back. Thats why I truly believe that you should contact your breeder, even if there was no contract to do so. |
