Maybe the first question should be -- what goes on at Weight Watchers? |
|
There are SEVERAL men that go to my WW meeting on Saturday morning.
As to what goes on, you show up.. you get weighed (privately), and you attend the group meeting.. it is a very, very supportive environment. At the meetings they will discuss ways to stay on track, receips, good places to eat.. how others are coping, what to buy. Just a very supportive environment. Men tend to do better than women. |
I do WW at work and there are plenty of men at the meeting. |
We only have three men at our meeting. But it is a small group (averages about 20). Its very early Sat. morning. I suspect the afterwork meetings have more men. Oh...men seem to do much better at losing weight quickly, than us poor gals! |
Ron, I encourage ALL my men (patients) that need to lose weight to got to weight watchers. It is a great program.
If you (or what ever male is interested) are not comfortable going you CAN do weight watchers on line. But I think the support and weekly weigh ins are a valuable part of the program. But the online program is good too. |
