For those with an IQube (or an everlasting treat ball) ?

I have the Lrg one. How the heck do I get this sucker out? I feel like it's stuck in there? Or am I the only one having this problem.

maybe Yuki took over the computer and is looking for help from her fellow sheepies 8)

SERIOUSLY! *knocks head on computer* I'm Asian, so I've got to have a bright side somewhere... :?
Are you messing around with us? Do you mean the ball out of the cube or the cube out of the packaging?

Does it make a difference?

Lol. Only in the instructions I would give.
Can someone tell me what the heck a IQUBE is???!!! :?
Oh. my. bad. :(

I meant an everlasting treat - Lrg

No matter how I get my nails into it, I can't seem to pry out the treat. i just wanted to see if I can get it out before I gave it to Yuki and practice putting it back in ...for when it's time to put another one in.

Is there some secret/special way others do it? Or again am I being laughed at and the only one who has trouble getting it out?

ravenmoonart, if you click on ron's shopping link (general forum), there is a link to an IQube.
I'm not even sure what all it can do? Is the middle meant for smaller treats? That's the impression I got from the back of the package, but I haven't tried to stuff it w/any dog food or something...

I will try messing with it again. I know it was frozen when I got it out of the mailbox, but either way.. my nails/fingers still had trouble getting in it ...to get it out.
The everlasting treat ball? Push it in and spin it sideways to pull it out. The dogs gnaw on it while it's inside and "attached" so there's no reason to pull it out.

Maybe you should have gotten one for yourself, too.

I think so...

I give up. Whatever. :x Mine is stuck. Yuki is just going to have to eat it out. Doesn't need to come out, just wanted to test it myself.

Hopefully Yuki can get it out..

I pushed in as hard as I could and it really wouldn't budge. Even put my fingers in through the other side... nope. I'm not called Olive Oyl because I ate my spinach...
You're too funny  I think the point to it is NOT to be able to get it out
You might try chewing on it after slobbering all over it. Maybe it'll be easier. LOL

HAHAHAHAHAHA

I've never tried to get it out, I just leave it til Tasker has chewed every last drop!!!
So you're saying it IS hard to get out, right?!?!?!

I swear I'm not too crazy.
Thanks for editing the title, Admin.

It kind of makes the thread a little more confusing when I correct myself later, but maybe it will bring others w/this toy out!

I've confused the IQube w/everlasting treat ball a few times now. Not on here, but when talking to other people. 8O
Yes, don't worry... it IS that hard to get out.

I use a butterknife (dinner knife) and shove the knife between the everlasting treat and the ball on the edge, then use the knife to pry it out.

Barkley has yet to finish a treat. He gets about 1/4 of it eaten and then loses interest.... maybe it goes stale or something. Eventually I just pry the treat out and let him have it (under supervision). The current treat has been there for over a month.
You can pry what's left of the edible part of the treatball with a screwdriver. Nelson always seems to leave a little ring of the cookie stuff. Rescue dogs aren't as picky and clean them out completely.
I love your avatar Sheepie Heaven! Some may say I like you more just because you're saving me a little in this thread. ;)

Anyway, yuki got into about 1/4th of it yesterday, and she had it for about 20 minutes. ...but I bought a lot of extras! I already love it! As long as she doesn't become allergic to it!
When it is time to put a new one in I always wet my finger in the sink and then run it around the rim of the ball. That seems to make it easier to pop a new one in.
Can you run it over with your minivan, J?
Bailey can get the stoppers out in under a minute, which is why I rarely put them in any more. We seem to get more play time out of the Triple Crown Everlasting Fun Ball:

I use bigger treats than the ones they sell, and it can keep him busy for hours.

Try that or FIND A STRONG MAN! :D I can't get those suckers in if my life depended on it...well maybe. Annie was totally drooling once when I had the treat ball and was trying to insert the treat into the top. I gave up and just gave her the actual treat :D Yes, you can put stuff inside for them to roll out. Annie gives up on the stuff inside and will eat the big treat for hours. Fozzie plays with it to get goodies out and eats the top later. Then Annie steals it from Fozzie and it becomes Mommy's treat ball
Oh goodness... I guess it will be my next purchase when Yuki (or I) get bored with this.
Beau & Bailey are kindred spirits. He can get them out and eat them in under 10 minutes easily.

We have one of those too.

Actually the best thing for keeping Izzie occupied is a small sized Everlasting Treat Ball.

It was given to me by a friend whose small bichon wasn't interested in it. We put a small square treat (jerky or whatever we have around) in the middle part and don't use the "real" treats that go on the outsides. Izzie sucks on it and manipulates it until she gets the treat.

It usually only occupies her for about 5 - 10 minutes, but then we will put another one in. 5 or 6 treats later she is tired, but hasn't has too many treats. She isn't a super chewer so we aren't worried about her tearing the ball apart. We call it her pacifier.

Get it wet. You can get the old one out and put a new one in. I think we may have also used a butter knife.

I vote getting it wet...it really does make it much easier.

Butter knives can be dangerous...you never know when it is going to slip and puncture you

I speak from experience...I stabbed myself in the hand with a butter knife last spring
Duct tape and kitchen utensils fix everything.
El Gato, why would you put such an unflattering picture of yourself in your avatar?

/gotta love the old times
Ha. Sometimes you just have to get the poppy seeds out of your teeth.

Stay classy San Diego!
